Many responsibilities exist beyond the normal team level commitments that make Gettysburg Little League function smoothly. 

Volunteers are what make the program a quality experience for all our children. 

Gettysburg Little League can only be as good as we, the parents and volunteers, make it.
The following are just some important volunteer areas beyond coaching that are required during the season.

• Field Preparation and Maintenance
• Fundraising
• Event Organization
• Game Scorekeeping
• Becoming a League Officer
  

What can you do to help?

*Note:  For the safety of the children, every volunteer will be subject to a background check.  This is a Little League mandate.

Volunteering with Gettysburg Little League is rewarding and the safety of our players is worth the time to get your clearances. Whether you're a Volunteer, Manager, Coach or Board Member, the following clearances need to be completed and submitted ASAP.

There are new PA State clearances that are needed to be in compliance. If you have these state clearances through your job and can get up-to-date copies, you may send those to GLL. Please send all needed documentation in at one time either via email or mail hard copies to: GLL, PO Box 3096, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
